W rozmowach z Andrew Wilsonem rodzina, przyjaciele i kochankowie projektanta po raz pierwszy opowiedzieli o takim McQueenie, jakiego znali: skomplikowanym, wewnętrznie rozdartym, niepewnym siebie mężczyźnie, który najpierw podbił świat mody, a potem padł jego ofiarą.
